Task : Healo is a Georgian mental health platform that connects users with licensed therapists. Users register, choose a therapist based on their needs, pay for sessions online, and receive a Google Meet link directly in their calendar. Both users and therapists have personal dashboards for managing sessions and profiles. The platform was already functional, but needed a complete design overhaul, performance optimization, a custom filtering system, and full multilingual support.
Solution : Migrated the site to a dedicated hosting environment and implemented a new design from Figma with pixel-perfect accuracy using Elementor Pro and Theme Builder. Built Custom Post Types and taxonomies for therapist profiles, replacing the old static pages. Set up 301 redirects from the old pages to the new entries to preserve SEO rankings. Developed a custom AJAX filter plugin for browsing therapists by specialty, language, and session type. Configured WPML for full multilingual support — translated pages, templates, and custom ACF fields. Implemented Elementor Loop Grids for dynamic content display. Optimized site performance and ensured full responsiveness.
Outcome : A polished mental health platform with a seamless user flow — from therapist discovery through custom filters to booking and automated session scheduling via Google Meet. Personal dashboards for both users and therapists, modern design, multilingual support, and a scalable architecture ready to grow with the platform.
